My Diary of travelling to Japan in September 2009
I went back to Japan on September 29th.
I took a United Airline flight at 6:50 a.m. on September 29th to Narita Airport.
It was full in the airplane, so I couldn’t choose a seat and I had to sit in the middle of three seats.
I didn’t like this seat because I needed to ask the person in the next seat to get up when I had to go to the toilet.
Unfortunately, the airplane shook because of bad weather.
I was not feeling well, so I ended up staying in the toilet for twenty minutes.
What bad luck!
On the next day, I woke up at 9 a.m. Thai time, so my body knew the exact time.
After breakfast,I went to meet my old student at the tennis club where I was a Junior high school teacher.
I heard from my friend the last time I visited Japan that he was working at the tennis club.
He had changed a lot since then but he still called me”Teacher”
We had a good nostalgic time.
Five years had gone by in a flash.
On October 2nd, I met my friend who was a tennis teammate in Yamagata University.
After that,I took my parents to a sushi restaurant.
It was a conveyor-belt sushi bar.
My mother likes sea urchin eggs, crabbrainsand scallops and my father likes bonitos, salted salmon roe and herring roe.
My favourite sushi is sea urchin eggs. When I was a child, I didn’t like them but these days I do.
It was really good.
On October3rd, I went to see a Professional Tennis Tournament at Ariake in Tokyo with my friend who was my highschool classmate.
I saw the Torepanpasific Open Singles Final between Maria Sharapova and Jelena Jankovic.
I hate to say it, but the match was disappointing because Jankovic retired during the game due to injury, but I didn’t believe that. She didn’t look injured.
She was very irritated about a line judge and encouragement to Sharapova from the audience.
I also saw Sugiyama’s last match.
She lost but the match was wonderful.
